This policy applies to the My OTPS browser extension, the myotps.com website, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By using the Service, you acknowledge this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

What we provide

My OTPS offers authenticator (TOTP) codes, verification email inboxes, and pay-as-you-go SMS numbers in your browser. Some features work without an account; signing in can sync and back up data across devices.

Information we process

• Account data: If you register, we process sign-in identifiers (such as email) through our authentication provider.
• Authenticator and verification data: TOTP secrets participate in code generation on your device. If you use cloud backup, related data is transmitted and stored in encrypted form—not as plain text we could read for display.
• Email and SMS content: To deliver codes and optional AI extraction, we process messages sent to your verification inboxes or rented numbers, including verification codes within them.
• Service diagnostics: We may collect limited logs or crash data to secure, operate, and improve the Service.
• Website preferences: The marketing site may store your language choice in localStorage (for example, myotps_locale).

How we use information

• Provide, maintain, and improve extension features, including AI-assisted code extraction.
• Sync and restore your data when you sign in.
• Deliver usage-based SMS and related billing where applicable.
• Respond to support requests sent to support@myotps.com.
• Comply with law and protect the Service, users, and the public.

Sharing and processors

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited data with:

• Infrastructure and vendors needed to run hosting, auth, mail/SMS routing, or payments.
• Legal requests when required by valid process or to protect rights and safety.

Third-party services are governed by their own policies. Use strong credentials and any security options your identity provider offers.

Retention and security

We retain data for as long as needed to provide the Service. You can remove unused inboxes or deactivate accounts where the product allows. We use reasonable safeguards such as encryption in transit and access controls, but no system is perfectly secure.

Your choices

• Guest mode keeps much data locally; uninstalling the extension may permanently remove it.
• Register and sign in to recover data on a new device; contact support@myotps.com for access, correction, or deletion requests regarding your account.
• Manage extension permissions in your browser; disabling the extension stops new collection from that install.

International processing

The Service may use infrastructure in multiple countries. By using the Service, you understand that information may be processed outside your jurisdiction as described here and as permitted by law.

Children

The Service is not directed to children below the age required in their jurisdiction. Contact us if you believe we collected a child’s data without appropriate consent.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be noted on the site or through reasonable in-product notice. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest revision.
